TNC Community is pleased to welcome you to our website. Here you will locate important information about the services that TNC Community provides to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

TNC Community is a not for profit organization whose goal is to provide quality service to individuals in a safe residential environment. TNC Community is accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our agency receives partial funding from Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County-Eitas, Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of Clay County, United Way of Greater Kansas City, and the Missouri Department of Mental Health. We also rely on contributions from the community.

For over 62 years TNC Community (Harry S Truman Children’s Neurological Center) has served individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities in the Greater Kansas City Area.  Where we once operated in a congregate setting we now provide services through 6 group homes and 3 Individualized Supported Living (ISL’s) homes (staff support only).  To learn more, proceed to About TNC or feel free to download our brochure.
